The Trench Rain-Coat — Luxury Dog Raincoat, Made in France

Shell: water-repellent technical cotton blend, unlined so the coat breathes. Buttons: horn-finished. Hardware: brass zipper on back pochette. Double-breasted closure, storm flap, buttoned cuffs, soft fabric belt tie, integrated back pochette, and a concealed vertical harness opening behind a buttoned placket. Handmade in Paris in small numbered runs.

The Trench is sized by breed silhouette, not by weight alone.

· S — Miniature Poodle, Cocker, French Bulldog
· M — Standard Poodle (small), Cavalier, Whippet
· L — Standard Poodle, Spaniel, mid-size mixed breeds
· XL — large breeds
· XXL — extra-large breeds

Teckel cut — a dedicated pattern for dachshunds, drafted on a long-bodied frame so the proportions read correctly from collar to tail. Available in its own product page: The Teckel Trench Rain-Coat.

How to measure
· Back length — from the base of the collar to the base of the tail
· Chest — the widest point, just behind the front legs
· Neck — where the collar sits

If your dog falls between two sizes, choose the larger.

Care
Wipe clean with a damp cloth between wears. For deeper cleaning, hand-wash cold with a mild detergent — never use bleach or fabric softener, which strip the water-repellent finish. Rinse thoroughly. Lay flat to dry, away from direct sunlight or heat. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron the technical finish.

The water-repellent finish can be refreshed over time with a reproofing spray made for technical cotton.

Store on a soft hanger or folded with the back flat — never hung from the collar alone, which can stretch the silhouette over time.

Designed in Paris. Handmade in France, in our own atelier. The shell is a water-repellent technical cotton blend, finished without PFCs. The horn-finished buttons are sourced from a heritage supplier.

Each Trench is numbered in the order it was made. The number is sewn into the inside placket — a quiet mark, for the person who notices.

Colette et Gastón works in small batches because the alternative is to make poorly. We do not over-produce.

Returns
14 days from delivery, in original condition. Items that have been worn or washed cannot be returned. Pre-order pieces are made to your size and are final sale — except for sizing issues, which we will exchange within 14 days of delivery.
