La Pluie Softshell — Cotton-Lined Luxury Dog Raincoat, Made in France

Shell: technical softshell, water-repellent and windproof. Lining: 100% organic cotton, collar to hem. Zipper: impermeable YKK. Covered soft placket, concealed back harness opening beneath a buttoned placket. Handmade in Paris in numbered runs.

La Pluie Softshell is sized by breed silhouette, with a specialised cut for short-legged breeds (Short Bulldog).

· XS — Yorkshire, Chihuahua, small Toy Poodle
· S — Miniature Poodle, Cocker, French Bulldog
· M — Standard Poodle (small), Cavalier, Whippet
· L — Standard Poodle, Spaniel, mid-size mixed breeds
· L Short Bulldog — English Bulldog and short-legged, deep-chested breeds
· XL — large breeds
· XXL — extra-large breeds

How to measure
· Back length — from the base of the collar to the base of the tail
· Chest — the widest point, just behind the front legs
· Neck — where the collar sits

If your dog falls between two sizes, choose the larger.

Care
Wipe clean with a damp cloth between wears. For deeper cleaning, hand-wash cold or machine-wash on a delicate cycle with a mild detergent — never use bleach or fabric softener, which strip the water-repellent finish. Rinse thoroughly. Lay flat to dry, away from direct sunlight or heat. Do not tumble dry.

The water-repellent finish can be refreshed over time with a reproofing spray designed for softshell fabric.

Store on a soft hanger or folded with the back flat.

The engraved brass label is finished with a heat-cured protective resin and will not tarnish, dull, or lift — even after machine washing.

The softshell shell is water-repellent, windproof, and finished without PFCs. The organic cotton lining is processed without harmful chemicals. The YKK impermeable zipper is one of the most durable closures made anywhere in the world.

Each La Pluie Softshell is numbered in the order it was made.

Colette et Gastón works in small batches because the alternative is to make poorly. We do not over-produce.
