A luxury Christmas balaclava/hat for dogs, in baby alpaca and merino wool, in four festive colourways.

Soft, brushed and light, it sits close to the head and covers the ears and neck. Each piece pairs a body colour with a contrast edge and an oversized pom-pom.

Because dogs get cold from the ears down.

Made for Christmas: the tree photo, the winter walk, the gift under the tree.

Knitted by our team of women in Huancayo, Peru. Made to order, in small batches.

Composition

Yarn: 43% baby alpaca, 43% merino wool, 14% polyamide. Construction: slip-on with ribbed neck, contrast edging and pom-pom. Knitted and assembled in Huancayo, Peru.

Size & fit

The Pom-Pom Dog Balaclava is sized to sit close to the head without pulling at the ears — snug, not tight.

Available sizes
· S — Chihuahua, Yorkshire, Toy Poodle and similar small breeds
· M — Pomeranian, Teckel (dachshund), Miniature Poodle, Cocker, French Bulldog
· L — Shepherds (bergers), Standard Poodle, Spaniel, mid-size mixed breeds

How to measure
· Head circumference — around the widest point of the head, just in front of the ears
· Neck — where the balaclava sits at the base

If your dog falls between two sizes, choose the larger. Dogs with a thick or fluffy coat, like the Pomeranian, usually need the larger size.

care & traceability

Care
Hand-wash cold with a mild detergent designed for wool or fine fibres. Soak for no more than 10 minutes. Rinse gently. Press the water out with a towel — do not wring or twist. Lay flat to dry, away from direct sunlight or heat. Reshape while damp.

Store folded, not hung, with a piece of cedar to keep moths away.
