La Marinière is sized by breed silhouette, cut close to the body — closer to menswear than to a t-shirt. With dedicated cuts for pugs and extra-large breeds.

· S — Miniature Poodle, Cocker, French Bulldog, standard teckels

· L short (Pug) — Pugs and short-legged, deep-chested breeds

· XXL short — large short-bodied breeds

How to measure
· Back length — from the base of the collar to the base of the tail
· Chest — the widest point, just behind the front legs
· Neck — where the collar sits

Care
Machine-wash cold on a gentle cycle, with similar colours. Use a mild detergent — avoid bleach and fabric softeners, which weaken the cotton fibre over time. Lay flat to dry, or tumble dry on low. Iron at medium heat on the inside if needed.

Cared for properly, cotton interlock holds its shape for years. The stripes stay saturated. The collar keeps its form.

Traceability
Designed and handmade in Paris, in our own atelier. Each piece is finished one at a time, by one person from cut to seam.

Colette et Gastón works in small batches because the alternative is to make poorly.
