Dachshund (Teckel) Size Guide

Our dachshund cuts are drafted from scratch on a long-bodied silhouette — not a standard pattern shortened. Proportions are correct from collar to tail, for Kaninchen, Miniature, and Standard dachshunds alike.

How to measure

  • Neck — where the collar sits
  • Chest — the widest point, just behind the front legs
  • Back length — from the base of the collar to the base of the tail

If your dog falls between two sizes, choose the larger.
