Luxury Dog Fashion Paris

Paris has always had a specific relationship with clothing.

Not with trend. Not with novelty. With the idea that a garment should be made well, last long, and look exactly right without announcing itself.

That standard — which the city has applied to everything from outerwear to footwear to table linen for two centuries — is the one Colette et Gastón applies to dogs.

Why Paris

The question is not why Paris makes sense for luxury dog fashion.

The question is why it took this long.

The dog owner in the 7th arrondissement who walks to the market on Saturday morning, who knows the difference between a good coat and a great one, who chooses everything in their home with intention — that person has always existed.

What did not exist, until recently, was a brand that took them seriously.

A brand that approached their dog's wardrobe the way they approach their own. With real materials. Real provenance. Real design decisions.

Colette et Gastón was built for that person.

Designed in Paris. Made where it matters.

Every piece in the collection begins in Paris — with a silhouette decision, a material choice, a brief that asks what the most considered version of this garment would look like.

From there, two production routes.

Knitwear travels to Huancayo, Peru — where baby alpaca fibre and the artisanal knowledge to work it properly have coexisted for generations. Every sweater is hand-knit by female artisans at 3,271 metres above sea level.

Outerwear and essentials are made entirely in France — from Nooteboom technical fabrics, lined in organic cotton, constructed with the same restraint the design demands.

Paris provides the standard. Peru and France provide the craft.

The collection

Knitwear — baby alpaca and organic cotton sweaters, hand-knit in Peru. From €120.

Raincoats — softshell and lightweight, made in France. From €310.

Essentials — organic cotton shirts and blouses, made in France. From €95.

Every piece limited. Every season intentional.

The city that takes clothing seriously

Paris is not the only place that makes things well.

But it is the place that has, for longer than anywhere else, insisted that the way something is made is inseparable from what it is.

That conviction is what we bring to every piece.

The dog who walks through the Tuileries on a grey November morning deserves the same consideration as everything else in that household.

That is not a luxury proposition.

It is simply the correct one.
