The Dots Teckel Alpaca

Yarn: alpaca blend. Stitch: dot pattern, hand-knit. Construction: drafted on a long-bodied frame for the dachshund. Hand-knit and assembled in Huancayo, Peru.

How to measure your dog

Back length — from the base of the collar to the base of the tail
Chest — the widest point, just behind the front legs
Neck — where the collar sits
If your dog falls between two sizes, choose the larger.

Care

Hand-wash cold with a mild detergent. Soak for 10-15 minutes. Gently agitate, paying attention to soiled areas. Rinse thoroughly, press out excess water with a towel — do not wring or twist. Lay flat to dry, away from direct sunlight. Reshape while damp. Never hang.

Cared for this way, the alpaca blend softens with every wash rather than pilling.

The engraved brass label is finished with a heat-cured protective resin and will not tarnish, dull, or lift — even after machine washing.

Traceability

Designed in Paris. Hand-knit and assembled by our team of women artisans in Huancayo, Peru, at 4,200 metres above sea level. Each piece is knit one at a time, by one person, from start to finish.

Colette et Gastón works in small batches because the alternative is to make poorly. We do not over-produce.

Delivery
Made-to-order pieces are shipped within 2 to 3 weeks.
You will receive a tracking number the day your piece leaves the atelier.

Returns
Made-to-order pieces are not eligible for return or exchange, as each is knit individually for you. Because our sweaters are hand-knit by artisans and not machine-made, small irregularities in stitch, tension, or shape are a natural and expected part of the process — a mark of handwork, not a defect.

Repairs
We build our pieces to last. Should your sweater show wear over time, we offer a repair service — write to us first at bonjour@colettetgaston.com and we'll guide you through sending it to our team in Paris.
